Road Trip Report: Back from Raleigh

Jeff and I are back from Raleigh. We'll have more on the Eagles 38-31 victory later today and some more thoughts about the road trip later tonight.

We were lucky enough to also make the trip to Chapel Hill for the Saturday night game between North Carolina and Connecticut. We stayed for about half of the game, and left when two banks of lights on one side of the stadium went out, delaying the game for 22 minutes. After the lights went on, the Tar Heels put the game out of reach, handing the Huskies their first loss of the year.

Hope you guys had a good time in Raleigh, in all seriousness.

Did y'all make it to Ole Time for some BBQ like I suggested?

P.S. You look like that guy from the TV show "Numb3rs."

james - Thanks for the recommendations. Unfortunately, we didn't get to sample much of the Raleigh food and drink since we were staying in Durham with a friend at Duke. We got to Tyler's next to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Friday and Charlie's on 9th Street in Durham late Saturday night.

Fair enough. I know you said you'd address it in a subsequent post, but let me and all your readers know how the Wolfpack faithful treated you and what you thought of tailgating at Carter-Finley overall.

I love the old-style BC hat. Where did you get it?
