A Ferriero GW on the Power Play!

And the Eagles advance to the Hockey East championship! Less than a minute into the third OT session, Ben Ferriero scores the game winner on the man advantage!

Congratulations to Jerry York and the boys with an amazing win. Next up: the winner of the game 2 semifinal between BU and Vermont, in the Hockey East tournament championship, which is less than 24 hours away!

Go BC!

Great performance by the team: Muse had a hell of a game in terms of weathering those early goals as well as the physical beating he took (down on the ice on a variety of occasions).

Was worried about momentum after that disallowed GW in the second, but the boys pulled held tough (67 shots on net!?!).

York has these kids playing inspired hockey- can't wait for the Final tomorrow.

Go Eagles!

York always has the team psyched to play in the HE tournament. I have tickets for tomorrow's game, and will try to make it up for the final (since I wasn't able to watch the game tonight).

Go BC! I'm psyched (since my bracket is now totally shot) ... :)
