Happy Birthday Tyler Neville. Who? you might ask? This guy. Neville was a career bench guy for Al Skinner and the Eagles from 2003-2006. His career stat line reads like Archibald "Moonlight" Graham's - 20 games played, 31 minutes, 10 points, 5 assists, 3 turnovers.

A not so Happy Anniversary to the Boston College men's basketball team. On this date three years ago, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets rudely welcomed us to ACC play, dropping the 11th ranked Eagles with a 60-58 win. Georgia Tech's Zam Fredrick hit a shot with 33.5 seconds left to propel the Jackets over BC. Boston College dropped to 11-3 on the season (0-2 in ACC play).


Two for one Happy Time special: Happy Trails edition. Happy Trails to Coach Jeff Jagodzinski. Unless you were living under a rock for the past few days, all Eagles fans now know that Jags was fired "without cause" yesterday by AD Gene DeFilippo. The media's stance on Gene's decision to fire Jagodzinski? Favorable. Gregg Doyel, Sally Jenkins and Dan Wetzel all applaud the decision.

Happy Trails to Boston College men's basketball's 10 game winning streak. After one of the biggest regular season upsets in BC basketball history, the Eagles followed that up with a 82-70 loss to Harvard. The Crimson win marked the first time ever ... I repeat, ever ... that Harvard has beat a ranked team.

Who is that you might ask? Why that's just Jeremy Lin, that's all.
