BC-Miami Game Tonight

Now that college football is over (other than a high profile head coach search taking place in Chestnut Hill and our final blogpoll ballot due Monday), it's time to talk college basketball.

What: Boston College Eagles vs. Miami Hurricanes
When: 7:00 PM tonight
Where: Silvio O. Conte Forum
TV: ESPNU

Game Previews: ESPN, HurricaneSports.com
Line: BC -2.5

Probable Starting Lineups:

MIAMI (11-3, 0-1 ACC)

G-01-Lance Hurdle
G-33-Jack McClinton
G/F-32-Brian Asbury
F-20-Cyrus McGowan
F-21-Dwayne Collins

BOSTON COLLEGE (13-3, 1-0)

G-4-Tyrese Rice
G/F-15-Rakim Sanders
F-12-Joe Trapani
F-11-Corey Raji
C-52-Josh Southern

We're Goin' Streakin': Miami has lost six straight in Chestnut Hill and has dropped 13 of its last 14 games to the Eagles. This season, Miami comes into Boston having won four straight. BC is coming off a loss to Harvard 82-70 after rattling off 10 straight after the Eagles Preseason NIT semifinal loss to Purdue.

Brian's Prediction: I like the Eagles to rebound in this one and push our ACC record to 2-0. It won't come easy though. Eagles 75, Hurricanes 71.

Jeff's Prediction: BC wins comfortably 74-63.
