The Eagle in Atlanta has done a great job of covering all the facets of Boston College’s Pro Day from this past Tuesday. Here are the links to his posts:
We also caught this article on Kissing Suzy Kolber, a “colorful” explanation of what Matt Ryan is trying to accomplish at Pro Day.
Even though the men’s and women’s basketball teams aren’t Dancing, we still find reason to be happy.
No BC birthdays of note today. If you know of one, leave in the comments section. It is Gordon Watt’s birthday of BC men’s college hoops fame. Gordon transferred after his only season at the Heights (2004-2005) and now plays for the Purdue Boilermakers. We could have definitely used the 7.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game he averaged this year.
Happy Anniversary to the BC Eagles men’s hockey team. On this date 9 years ago, you defeated New Hampshire 5-4 in overtime for their fourth Hockey East tournament championship. Coincidence that I use this anniversary today? The win also denied UNH their first Hockey East tournament championship (the Wildcats later went on to win the championship in 2002 and 2003). The MVP of the championship was BC’s then junior forward Blake Bellefeuille.
Earlier stated by Jeff, a Happy Trails to John Oates and Tyrelle Blair. You both ended your collegiate careers last weekend when the Eagles fell to the Clemson Tigers in the ACC quarterfinals, 82-48. Thanks for your contribution to the Eagles basketball teams over the last 5 years, and best of luck for whatever comes next.

5-4 OT victory over UNH in the Hockey East tournament ... sounds familiar. :)
