People will show up for that one.

We should never, ever schedule UConn in anything. They are a loser school that we gain nothing by playing, especially in football.Kevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13821234100147964378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7012441349157663851.post-22205838182799377802008-07-30T15:37:00.000-04:002008-07-30T15:37:00.000-04:00Count me as one in favor of the BC-Syracuse end-of...Count me as one in favor of the BC-Syracuse end-of-season rivalry game. It has a lot of the things going for it that create a good rivalry- history, geographic proximity, and a reasonably similar academic profile. There's definitely animosity toward BC among the Syracuse alumni I met in Boston. And let's not forget that we owe them payback for 2004 in a big way.

And should we be lucky enough to have clinched the Atlantic Division title and have two weeks prior to that ACC Championship Game, that's a good thing. Our homebody fanbase needs as much time to prepare for making a road trip as it can get.downtown_residenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16310171123874762405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7012441349157663851.post-24626071754165658322008-07-30T15:15:00.000-04:002008-07-30T15:15:00.000-04:00syracuse is not a guaranteed win for the eagles. Jeff must be more interested in a clemson finish than a BC schedule, being in South Carolina and all.
But having the last game of the season matter is good for BC, home or away. Having an irrelevant game means it will be harder to fill alumni, which is already difficult. And lets be honest its never going to mean anything for syracuse either, except bowl eligibility. I just think unless its a true rivalry, this game should be an in-conference opponent, except for possibly Notre Dame. I want our guys riding a win that counts, going into the ACC Championship, rather than a game that doesnt matter.

And i voted three times for Notre Dame today, BC Fans do your part :)Rajhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01974452786374725804noreply@blogger.com
